MealsOur lunches are prepared and served on the premises and the children have a choice from a menu of healthy options.

The charge for a school meal is £2.10 per day. Children should bring their money in each Monday morning in a named envelope and hand it to their class teacher.

Free school meals are supplied to the children where a family is receiving Income Support or income Based Job Seekers Allowance. The telephone number for the Local Authority for advice on claiming free school meals is 0161 770 6688.

The children are given the opportunity to drink water throughout the day. KS1 children receive a free piece of fruit daily; KS2 children can buy fruit at a cost of 20p per day.

Packed lunches may be brought to school in a sandwich box or bag labelled with the child’s name. As we are a Healthy school, we do not allow fizzy drinks, chocolates, sweets or fried food.

Please inform the school office or class teacher if your child has specific dietary needs.

Nursery children do not stay for lunch. They are provided with a snack, and parents are asked to contribute 50p weekly, which is paid to the Nursery Teacher.
