Punctuality

Being late for school makes it hard for your child to learn. If they are 30 minutes late each day it means they are missing a half day of school every week. If your child is late by 10 minutes a day he or she will miss the equivalent of one week of learning time in a year.

Children are expected to start school at 8.55 a.m. The register will close at 9.30 am. A child arriving after registration and before 9.30 will be marked as late. If a child arrives after 9.30 a.m and there is no genuine and exceptional reason for lateness, this will be marked as unauthorised.
