Under the Equality Act 2010, schools have a Public Sector Equality Duty to eliminate discrimination, advance equality of opportunity, and foster good relations between people of different backgrounds. This duty ensures that every member of our school community - pupils, staff and visitors - is treated fairly and with respect, regardless of protected characteristics such as disability, race or gender.
