The Academy Day 

Our day officially begins at 8.45 am and ends at 3.15 pm.

All children need to be in school promptly as the register will be taken as soon as school begins. Gates and doors will be open from 8:40am.

Breakfast club operates from 8:15am and there is a small charge for this, £1 per child per day.

Afternoon registration is at 1.00 p.m for Reception and KS1 children, and 1.30 p.m for KS2 children.

We have two Nursery sessions each day lasting 3 hours each. Children who attend the morning session arrive at 8.30 am and leave at 11.30 am.

The afternoon session is 12.15 pm to 3.15 pm.

After school clubs run until 4pm unless stated otherwise.

PLEASE NOTE
From September 2023 all state funded schools are expected to offer a school week of at least 32.5 hours. In order to comply with this and following consultation with parents, Roundthorn has moved its official start time from 8:55am to 8:45am. The official finish time will remain at 3:15pm.
